When you serve you stick! We call serving the “sticky factor” around ACC. If you want to really feel connected at ACC and really make a lasting impact with your life then you need to find a place to serve. We have all kinds of serving opportunities at ACC, both in the “church” and in the community. Good servants are needed to help with children, youth, greeting, ushering, help in the kitchen, help with gardens, help with video, sound and technical teams, help with … we need servants … people with a heart to serve and give of themselves and their time. There are lots of places to serve!

Beyond that at ACC we are “hugely” committed to serving our community. We regularly provide “big project” opportunities to get involved in, like Extreme Makeover projects of local agencies or congregation wide projects . We encourage all of our LifeGroups to regularly be serving with their small group in the community. More than that, ACC’ers are getting a reputation … they are people who are watching, listening and stepping up to help wherever and whenever they can, whether it’s a neighbor, a stranger or a need in their neighborhood.

Sometimes it takes a little while to find your RIGHT PLACE … that place where you are passionate and gifted and can use your strengths … but when you do … AHHH! It’s a great feeling.
